The ones who stayed focused on solutions, who asked \u201cwhat can we learn?\u201d instead of \u201cwho screwed up?\u201d, those are the people you want in the trenches with you.<\/p>\n

I make mistakes regularly. If I didn\u2019t, I\u2019d know we weren\u2019t pushing hard enough. And when our team sees that I\u2019m willing to try things that might not work, it gives them permission to innovate, too. Some of our best strategies came from junior team members who felt safe enough to pitch something completely different.<\/p>\n
Look, I\u2019m not romanticizing failure. Losing clients hurts. Watching a campaign you believed in completely flop is painful. Having to tell your team that the direction you championed isn\u2019t working \u2014 that\u2019s hard.<\/p>\n
But here\u2019s what I\u2019ve learned: The leaders who never fail aren\u2019t the ones doing interesting work. They\u2019re playing it safe. They\u2019re optimizing what already exists instead of creating what could be.<\/p>\n

Having a clear vision of where you\u2019re trying to go helps you use failures as course corrections instead of roadblocks. Every mistake, every failed campaign, every strategy that didn\u2019t deliver, they\u2019re all data points that help you refine your approach.<\/p>\n
The biggest mistake isn\u2019t trying something that doesn\u2019t work. It\u2019s being so afraid of failure that you never try anything new at all. That\u2019s how companies stagnate. That\u2019s how leaders stop growing.<\/p>\n
So yes, I\u2019ve had campaigns flop. I\u2019ve had strategies fail. I\u2019ve had to tell clients that our initial approach wasn\u2019t delivering. And every single one of those experiences made me a better leader and made Bullzeye a stronger company.<\/p>\n
Because real leadership isn\u2019t about being right all the time. It\u2019s about being willing to be wrong, learning from it and using those lessons to build something actually worth building.<\/p>\n
