Unfortunately, there is an abundance of bad financial advice on popular platforms like TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook. This bad advice can range from unrealistic get-rich-quick schemes to bad investments that could leave you worse off than when you started.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To help protect yourself from bad financial advice on social media, here are a few tips:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 16px; text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"> <strong>Do your own research:<\/strong> Before you follow any advice from social media, take the time to do your due diligence.
