Futura Medical said the European Patent Office has granted its erectile dysfunction treatment a patent which provides protection until 2040.
The London-listed pharmaceutical company said Monday that the patent will provide protection in all European markets for its MED3000 treatment, and that it is continuing with patent applications in other leading markets such as the U.S.
“The allowance of this patent application further cements the intellectual property of MED3000, as we support our distributors’ roll out of our fast acting topically applied gel for the treatment of erectile dysfunction available without a doctor’s prescription across the world,” Chief Executive James Barder said.
